They keep saying the right person will come along, I think mine got hit by a truck...

Sorry guys but its the facts of life - you have yet to convince me that you are worth waiting around for! Like it says above I think the one who was right out there for me must have gotten hit by a truck :-)

Didn't want this blog to demonstrate the feminist in me but it was bound to come out over time...

According to a recent survey, men say the first thing they notice about a woman is their eyes, and women say the first thing they notice about men is they're a bunch of liars.

God made woman beautiful and foolish; beautiful, that man might love her; and foolish, that she might love him

Boys are like a baby's dummy, initially they are great to suck on but once girls are introduced to more exciting things such as food and talking we lose all interest!

How many men does it take to screw in a light bulb? Three. One to screw in the bulb and two to brag to about the screwing part.

11 things you want to say outloud but don't...

1. I can see your point, but I still think you're full of sh*t.
2. How about never? Is never good for you?
3. I see you've set aside this special time to humiliate yourself in public.
4. I'm really easy to get along with once you people learn to see it my way.
5. Ahhhh. I see the screw-up fairy has visited us again.
6. I like you. You remind me of myself when I was young and stupid.
7. I have plenty of talent and vision; I just don't give a damn.
8. What am I? Flypaper for freaks?!
9. I'm not being rude. You're just insignificant.
10. And your crybaby whiny-assed opinion would be?
11. I'll try being nicer if you'll try being smarter.
12. Wait a minute - I'm trying to imagine you with a personality

I would never think this stuff of course :-) I'm too sweet and innocent I love youse all ;-)

Don't cry because its over, smile because it happened.

Well blog I haven't been on speaking terms with you for a while but I thought I might give you a chance on this cold wintry night when there's nothing good on TV :-)

Recent happenings over the past few weeks have sort of all merged into one - can't believe May is almost over! However, in amongst this blur I have suddenly been shaken to a halt and reminded that I am leaving for Africa in a little over a months time. SHITE!

But within this blur there have been some clear moments shining down on me that really will be some of the most memorable experiences I will treasure for a lifetime...

Funny story
Or disturbing story for those of you who are green hippies out there. I am doing a drug test and a sleep study within the next two months to earn enough money to go overseas! WOO HOO bring on the $2000! Its amazing what you will put yourself through to have a great time overseas... I am sure I will enjoy it even more now if I am not paralyzed or mentally retarded after these studies :-) Hehehehehe shouldn't joke...

Amazing moment and true Disney fantasy story
Something which has made me loathe Adelaide and rather than result in a happy ending has made me a grumpy bitch ;-) Don't worry I'm sure this little home town of mine will become lovable soon enough again and I will remove this dark "pity me" cloud away from around my head! So yes this 'moment,' actually lasted an entire weekend in Mt Buller, Victoria last week. WOW - not only breathtaking scenery but special moments that I will treasure. After climbing a mountain, tobogganing the snowy terrain, toasting marshmellows, floating on top of the world at sunset and spewing in a toilet (while it is not the first time I have spewed it is the first time a toilet has had that pleasure!) after too much booze I was truly convinced I was going to give it all up and become a mountain hermit. Except instead of living in a cave I would live in a lodge, and instead of becoming a hermit I would be a social butterfly entertaining with scores of friends every weekend in a spa and sauna ;-)

Feeling special
For a couple of days at least ;-)...Being able to be appreciated for who I was, sharing awesome conversations as usual and catching up with really close friends and meeting generally decent people convinced me how much I love Melbourne.

Acknowledging what I have here in this moment
A great support group of girls who I can splurge my goss to, telling them when I feel rotten and being there as a shoulder to rest on is something I know I am going to dearly miss and will be the moments that will always bring me back to my home town of Adelaide or to wherever there feet may land.

Sometimes even though it might amaze you that 6 months is already over of your life you can always remember those special moments in life that don't just remain moments but live in your heart for eternity and continue to play over and over again. Something to keep you stable, still and at peace when the rest of the world is rushing by.
